B&W Trailer Hitches
LIKE MANY AMERICAN DREAM STORIES, OURS BEGAN IN A GARAGE.
When the classic car restorer's market began to decline and many tough years on the family farm, Roger Baker and Joe Works decided it was time for a change. They set their sights on something new—building custom truck beds under B&W which would later become one of America’s most recognized brands in this industry!
Roger and Joe quickly realized there was a way to remove the inconvenience of a gooseneck ball permanently by welding it in the bed of the truck. They quickly invented a gooseneck hitch that mounted underneath the bed and a ball that turned over and stowed in one place. This is how the Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch was born and now nearly every manufacturer uses this type of mounting and ball storage system.
WE DIDN'T INVENT THE TRAILER HITCH, BUT WE MADE EVERYONE ELSE REINVENT THEIRS.
After a few years, they applied the same concept to 5th-wheel hitches. Using the same hole in the bed and under-bed mounting hardware, they designed a Champion with a single point attachment that was removable for when not towing. They also designed the Champion to provide a smoother, quieter ride for users.
They continued to solve problems other manufacturers we not solving, always keeping the customer's towing experience in mind. They built a company that has set the bar high and continues to raise it.
