2022 Preview - Truck Part Superstore New Product Lines!

2022 Preview - Truck Part Superstore New Product Lines!

Lots of new products to come this year! Let's dive right into some of the new lines. In this blog post we're trying something a bit different - transcribing the post from a recent podcast, which can be found here. So with that being said, you may find some small grammatical errors and it's definitely going to sound a bit more casual than usual!

Bullet Proof Hitches ED204 2.0" EXTREME DUTY 4" DROP/RISE HITCH

One of the new product lines that we're bringing on is going to be Bulletproof Hitches. There's really not a huge shortage of towing and hitch manufacturers on the market, but with the supply chain issues we've seen, it's nice to have another one come on board and kind of just add to our arsenal of in stock products. These hitches are super heavy-duty. They're not showy by any means. But if you're looking for a functional hitch that gets the job done, made in the USA - these are your guys!

Zamp Racing NT002003 Z-Tech Series 2A

Next up, Zamp Racing! Now, if you are what I would call a truck enthusiast, this may not appeal so much to you. But we do carry a lot of performance parts and if you're in the racing world, Zamp is probably more on the budget side of things but they do have some good stuff. I actually own one of their neck restraints, which is comparable to a HANS device if you're familiar. They're not bad products. Obviously HANS is kind of a step above but if you're looking for an entry level, racing suit, shoes, helmets, etc. Zamp is a great option that we're looking forward to adding to the store.

Tesbros CHROME DELETE PARTS FOR MODEL 3

One of the other lines we're bringing on here is Tesbros and this is an interesting company. They they carry a lot of Tesla specific stuff, which is obviously beneficial with Tesla being relatively new to the automotive market. There's not a huge amount of stuff on the market that's Tesla specific, so we are looking forward to carrying some stuff for the Tesbros, so to speak! They have Chrome delete protection kits, wrap kits, etc. Chrome delete is probably a big one for a lot of guys. These Teslas sure clean up nice when there's no chrome on them.

Tera Pump TRFA01 4th Gen. Gas Can Fuel Transfer Pump

Terra Pump is up next, which is actually something I've used personally. These are really cool products. The specific product I have experience with is a battery powered siphon pump for Jerry cans - probably the easiest way I would explain it. One of the better applications here is going to be powersports, I would say where you don't want to be lifting the jerrycan up and holding it there for three years as it drains into your tank. Leave it on the ground, stick the hose in and turn it on and it'll fill your tank super fast. They also have some stuff for drums and water tanks.

Ford Super Duty (2017-2019) Textured Tough Guard

Another line we're bringing on is going to be Tough Guard. We are pretty excited to be able to feature a fellow Canadian company on our website with some hood deflectors and other products. These are pretty well made, I would say probably a step above AVS and Stampede, and many of the other deflector products on the market. So pretty exciting, very similar mounting, they have textured finishes, smooth finishes, so that's going to be a great product add for us.

 Moonshade awning

Moonshade, or Moon Fab is another new line for us. In the last year or so we've seen the overlanding community explode. One of the things we found was that the folks that have awnings on the market, unfortunately haven't really been able to deliver product very well. So I felt it was pretty important we bring on another manufacturer that carries those products. So Moon Fab / Moonshade, they're almost probably known more by Moonshade than they are Moon Fab, but Moon Fab is the mother company nonetheless. Our primary focus here is going to be awnings in various sizes. Should be a good alternative for ARB since they can't deliver product right now.

 Cali Raised LED Toyota Kit

Cali Raised LED. I would say you're looking at a quality LED product that's probably around Rigid quality. Maybe not quite Baja Designs territory. But they do have some great mounting options, which is for sure one of their strengths and they have some cool ones. There's some great vehicle specific kits. They cater more towards Toyota, I would say, but they do have some Ranger stuff, some RAM stuff, some Chev stuff. No F-150 support that I've seen yet which is probably what I would say is a little disappointing being that that's the best selling truck in this market. I'm a little biased because I own one but yeah, they have some wicked products for Toyota's for sure. So you know, snoop around as much as you want to!

Thermo Tec 19102 Exhaust Wrap Kit 2 Inch x 50 Foot Natural Color 1 Roll Kit, Motorcycle/4 Cyl Applications - 19102

Another line we're bringing on is going to be Thermo Tec. This is going to be pretty niche, for the project guys when it comes to the performance world. You know, the race and community heat shields, exhaust wraps, that type of thing. If you're building a classic car, or have a restoration project, these guys have some sound and heat barriers that you may like!

Nitro Gear Dodge Ram 2500/3500 Nitro Front & Rear Gear Package Kit, Select Ratio

Next - Nitro Gear and Axle. Relatively straightforward product line. It's going to be comparable to your Motive, your Yukon Gear, your G2, similar concept here to the awnings where some of those other manufacturers are a bit behind when it comes to production. So we're just bringing on more of these manufacturers to just kind of add inventory.

 Redline 20WT RACE OIL (5W20) - Gallon

Redline Oil - I don't think it's quite loaded yet. Performance-oriented oil, I guess I would call it pretty exciting for me, mostly because being within the racing community, Red Line is a pretty big supporter of many different aspects of racing, but my particular interest would be an NHRA drag racing, and they offer quite a bit of support there. So it's always good to support those brands that support your hobbies,!

sPOD BANTAMX TOUCHSCREEN FOR UNI WITH 36" BATTERY CABLES

Now we have sPOD. Some people might call it S-pod and to be really frank with you, I don't know what is actually proper, which is a bit embarrassing. I should have probably done more research on that but nonetheless we are now carrying their product. If you are in the off-roading community, you've probably seen some of their products before. They have some wicked panels - predominantly switch panels is going to be what they're known for. They even have touchscreens, which is pretty sick. If you're someone that has forward facing light bars, side, if you're in the construction or oilfield and use off road lights as part of your work truck setup, this is a really solid, clean way of setting up all of your switches rather than drilling a bunch of holes in your dash and making a total massacre of it as I've seen so many times.

Up Down Air Gen2 Air Delivery System

Let's talk about Up Down Air which is going to be a lot of portable air compressors, and they have some complete systems especially in the Jeep offroading community. Pretty popular product line with some really fancy mounts. As you can see they have some engine bay mounts, so just a cleaner way of getting air for your tools or airing down and up your tires. Pretty cool product line to carry for us!

 Fishbone Offroad Mako Front Bumper

Fishbone Offroad. Again, more in the jeep world. Lots of bumpers, some fenders, some overlanding racks and guards. I mean, let's be honest here - "Jeep products are plentiful" would probably be an understatement. So did we need another? Maybe, maybe not. But I know we did get a bunch of requests by name. So here we are, we now have the products listed online so that you can shop for them yourself. So just more Jeep products to add to the old repertoire.

Kentrol 80704 Mechanical Hood Catch Kit

Kentrol - same thing. I would probably go as far as saying Kentrol's like a Crown Automotive Jr. Lots of replacement Jeep parts. Again, we've got lots of requests for Kentrolby name and it wasn't listed on the website, but we've actually sold quite a bit of Kentrol, basically when Crown parts were not available. So lots of hinges is actually what we sold in the past. Nonetheless, they are there as a source for replacement Jeep parts.

RUNNING BOARDS *OCC70128HX* CLASSICPRO EXTRUDED ALUMINUM | 2 INCH DROP / CREW CAB | 8 FOOT BED / 14-18 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 | 15-18 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500 3500 | GAS ONLY / BRIGHT / OWENS PRODUCTS

Owens Products is an interesting one and to be really honest with you a slight bit counterintuitive from my perspective. The reason I say that is because a lot of the products they have are what you might consider old school. So they have the old school diamond tread steps which, from my perspective, that's kind of gone the way of the dodo. But we actually do get quite a few inquiries for people looking specifically for this style of step and I understand why. Although personally, I find them absolutely hideous, on a work truck/service truck application where you really don't care what it looks like, they offer a good way to get into your truck, but also you get a bunch of rocker protection from them. So we brought these guys on because frankly, a lot of other manufacturers stopped making these. So that's the whole reason for that.

Factor 55 Crosby Shackles | Made in USA

Factor 55 is another new brand to us based on recovery, so they have shackles, fairleads, some really high end recovery products for if you really like getting into trouble basically is what it comes down to. Not really much more to say about that. It's a recovery brand. So if you're looking for your straps, you shackles, your fairleads that sort of stuff, great products, built like tanks.

Pypes 05-10 MUSTANG H-PIPE WITH CATALYTIC CONVERTERS (LONG TUBES) HFM55E

Pypes is going to be another exhaust manufacturer. One of the main reasons why I sought out another exhaust manufacturer honestly would probably be to compete with Flowmaster, who has absolutely dropped the ball as far as delivering product goes. That's not to say that's Flowmaster's fault. The whole supply chain is absolutely hurting right now. It's just that we can't sell what we don't have, and you can't buy what we don't have and they don't have and we just needed to diversify a little bit so that we add some more exhaust products, especially for the classic car, classic trucks.

Enthuze ACTENT02012 R-Series Hard Folding Tonneau Cover

Some of you may have heard of this brand before, it's actually a Canadian brand - Enthuze. I've actually been selling this for years even prior to starting this business. They sell products which are not really new or innovative. They kind of just copy other products, which everyone knows and they're really common, but they just sell them at a much cheaper price. In the particular example of my truck, I actually own one of their products. I own one of their tonneau covers. So if you are looking for a hard folding cover in direct comparison to a Bak you can see here they have their tonneau covers priced at $1079.99. This is at least $200 Cheaper from what I remember, compared to a Bakflip G2, which is going to be direct comparison. If you put the two side by side and remove the little label you probably couldn't tell the difference. So really cool budget line that carries a lot of super common products and it's very well stocked within Canada. So something to definitely take a look at if you're looking for some really basic stuff for your trucks like your floormats fender flares, running boards hitches. I mean, they're even doing leveling kits and wheels. This product line is loaded on the website as of right now. So you can snoop but the photos haven't loaded yet.

So anyways, those are the new brands for 2022. Hopefully we get those photos and everything uploaded as soon as possible. Obviously, it's a bit of a time consuming thing, needless to say. So that's what's new to TPS in 2022, as well as the Spare Parts Podcast, named so, because I'm doing this in my spare time. It's going to be a bunch of parts talk, I'm also going to cover some industry news. You know, generally just some automotive vehicle power sports related stuff. And we're gonna go from there. So we'll see how that goes. If you feel like you might be interested in this, but you don't necessarily want to watch this on Facebook, Twitch, or YouTube, which is where we're featuring this, it will be featured wherever you listen to your podcast, whether that's Apple, iTunes, Spotify, should be everywhere unless we get cancelled somehow. So if you want to subscribe any of those ways, you can listen to this on the truck while you're doing your workout. I don't know what else you may be up to. But that's definitely an option too. So look for some new episodes to come down the pipe here soon.

Hopefully everyone had fantastic holidays and the happiest of New Year's to you. We'll see you on the next one.
